  • Great idea,
Would like to see the blogs re fighting the waves, wind, breakages on the transatlantic row. It would help to appreciate how lucky we are and how far some people go in order to spread the message about saving our planet.
    Michael 🙂

  • “No ferry lines that allow foot passengers.”

Are you sure? For example, Norfolkline’s website (frequently asked questions) talks about the Edinburgh to Brugge route, and says: “Foot passengers can travel on our Rosyth – Zeebrugge and Irish Sea routes.”

  • We’ll be re-issuing ALL the Atlantic blogs, starting Nov 30 – so it will be a kind of “On this day in 2005…”. I hope you enjoy them!

Richard in Austin – thanks for the Norfolkline info, but Edinburgh is a VERY long way from Big Ben! We wouldn’t have the time to walk 400 miles north to catch the ferry… I should have been more specific – no ferries that allow foot passengers that would enable us to walk the remaining miles to Brussels in the time available…

  • Hiya Roz,
Did you see any sea vessels during your trip? did you see any ships?
The length of your last trip can be stretched for years to come. You could just dwell for a minute to think what went on your trip, the boobies fight. And then compare it to what is going in politics, entertainment, music on the same day you were out rowing.
I am a convert – I single handedly cleaned out S Ponte Vedra Beach with plastics and misc. Yesterday I only picked up 1 bottle water thats it. But at least i got that. There wasn’t a lot.

    Have a great day Roz!
I am going on a little journey this thanksgiving to be with my family,
I still have to buy me self a copy of your book and also donate.
I am procrastinator. I will get to it.

  • I like your articles on your page, but it appears as though your RSS feed is saying 404 error? Maybe it has something to do with your host. I just thought from webmaster to webmaster I would warn you of this problem so you don’t miss out on potential subscribers! If it still works for you have a friend try it, could be blocking external connections.
