“Believe in your heart that you're meant to live a life full of
passion, purpose, magic and miracles.” ― Roy T. Bennett
Do you sometimes feel lost and confused, like you don’t know where your life is going?
Do you feel that you came here to do something special, but you haven’t figured out what it is yet?
Do you suspect that you’re capable of much more than you’re currently doing, but you don’t know how to access your hidden potential?
This six-month (one gathering per month) real life course will take you on a journey to find your purpose and unleash your inner strengths. We will introduce you to tried and tested exercises based on simple techniques like journaling, automatic writing, guided meditations, contemplative nature walks and constellation work. We will offer a psychologically safe space where you and your fellow participants will explore what inspires and motivates you, and discover the joy-filled intersection of what makes your heart sing while also paying the bills.
Cost
£450 unwaged, £600 waged, £900 for the well-waged who would like to contribute to a bursary for somebody less financially fortunate.
We will send details for making payment when you book your place. Please book by contacting us on laurieking33@gmail.com. Bookings close on 12th December 2022.
Your Guides
Laurie King:
Passionate about helping people heal their feeling of disconnect from the natural world, Laurie became a writer, researcher and facilitator.
As a freelance writer, she has written features for magazines such as Resurgence and Ecologist, Sustainable Food Trust, STIR to Action and Bristol Cable. She has also recently published a book called Wilder Journeys, a collection of true to life short stories of adventure, nature and connection (in which Roz has contributed a chapter!)
She is currently completing her PhD at Cardiff University, which takes a more-than-human approach to researching sustainable harvesting of wild food. Having just completed a year long training in Eco-centric Approaches to Nature Based practice with Way of Nature UK, she is currently training as a wilderness rites of passage guide and organising courses which help people feel more purposeful and connected in these times.
Roz Savage:
Dr Roz Savage MBE is a coach, ocean rower, author, keynote speaker, blogger, and podcaster.
After getting a law degree from Oxford, she spent 11 years working as a management consultant before an environmental epiphany gave her a sense of purpose, and she left the corporate world to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, using her adventures to raise awareness of our ecological crisis.
She has written four books - two about her ocean adventures, one about the gifts of solitude, and her latest book, The Ocean in a Drop, about how we all have a role to play in creating a better future for people and planet.
